Panasonic Cordless Phones: New Technology in Phones

!±8± Panasonic Cordless Phones: New Technology in Phones

The new Panasonic Cordless Phones available today are equipped with the latest cordless technology. Since the inception of wireless phones, engineers have been working on improving sound quality, noise reduction, range, and caller security. They have attained a new level in all those characteristics. They call it DECT 6.0 Plus.

DECT 6.0 Plus is the latest technology. DECT stands for "Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication". The 6.0 means that the system can accommodate up to six handsets from one base unit. A handset could be placed in almost every room of your home.

Some Panasonic Cordless Phone models like the KX-TG6545B come with a built-in digital voice answering machine. You can personalize your greeting or use the pre-recorded greeting. A convenient play-back button makes listening to your missed calls easy. And you don't need to listen to your messages in the order received. You can skip to the more important ones first.

Another neat feature of the Panasonic Cordless Phone is the talking called ID. When a person calls your number, the phone states in a voice who or what number is calling. This means you don't have to drop whatever you're doing and run to the phone to visually check the caller ID readout. Once you hear whos' calling, you decide if you want to answer. It's like having your own personal call screener.

A hands-free headset is also available which is easily connected to the phone. This is perfect for office workers, busy executives, people who's jobs keep them on the phone, or moms who are busy with housework.
